No icebreakers. No awkward introductions.
These hikes are built for men who want connection without the pressure. Movement makes it easier. Nature strips away the noise. Conversations happen naturally.
You’ll leave clearer, lighter, and more grounded than when you showed up.
What to expect:
Who it’s for:
Once a year, we gather.
No distractions. No schedules. No roles to play.
Just men, a fire, and a few days to reset your life.
This is where surface-level connection ends and real brotherhood starts.
What happens:
Most men aren’t lacking information, they’re lacking real connection, and no amount of podcasts, books, or scrolling
can replace being face-to-face with other men who are actually showing up.
Something shifts when you’re in the same space: the guard drops, the conversations get honest,
and you realize you’re not the only one carrying what you’ve been carrying.
The hikes and reunion are where that starts, but it doesn’t end there.
Men’s Therapy Online is built as a full system of support:
Slack to stay connected, Men’s Groups to go deeper, and Individual Coaching to focus your work,
all designed so you’re not doing this alone.
Kevin Reilly grew up in the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York where he developed a deep appreciation for nature and all it benefits it grants us. He enjoys volunteering at his local Humane Society and playing basketball in his free time. His background is mainly in hospitality but he has recently shifted careers to Ophthalmology. His overall goal is about helping people and he’s eager to step into the role of MTO Hiking Group Lead and being the ambassador to an incredible network of solid men of the MTO community. Kevin was first introduced to MTO at a hiking event just like the one he leads and is eager to be able to offer men an entry point into the world of MTO and its resources.
We hike for a few hours in the Colorado mountains while having natural, real conversations along the way. There’s no forced sharing or awkward structure. Some guys talk deeply, some keep it lighter, but everyone leaves feeling more grounded and connected.
No. You can start by attending a hike without being a member. Many men use these hikes as an entry point, then join MTO for ongoing support through groups, coaching, and community.
Most hikes take place in the wilderness surrounding Denver, Colorado. The annual reunion also takes place in Colorado. Some men travel in for larger events, especially the reunion.
No. These events are not therapy sessions or clinical support groups. They are structured but informal spaces where men can have real conversations, connect naturally, and be around others who are working on themselves without pressure or labels.
No. The monthly hikes are free and open to any man who’s interested in showing up, getting outside, and connecting with other guys. They’re designed to be an easy, no-pressure entry point into the MTO community.
The annual camping reunion is reserved for current and alumni MTO members, as it’s a deeper experience built on existing connection and trust within the group.
