We stand on the shoulders of giants. The wisdom of men has been passed down from generation to generation via philosophy, myth, story, and song. Through these mediums men have paved the way to career success, meaningful relationships, spiritual development and a better life. As modern men, we would be foolhardy and naïve to neglect the teachings of our ancestors. So, join us as we dive into books that have changed lives and inspired greatness.

The Men’s Therapy Online Book Club meets for 2hrs every month. During the group you’ll have a chance to share your experience and thoughts about the book, be asked thought-provoking discussion questions, and meet other guys who are studying the same thing. In this way, we combine intellectual pursuit and community building. Furthermore, once we reach the end of the current book, you’ll be encouraged to put what you learned into practice. The group format allows you to benefit from the combined wisdom, knowledge, and life experience of the other members, as well as foster accountability around real life and mindset changes.

 

The MTO Book Club meets online once a month on Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 Mountain Standard Time
It costs $300 per quarter which focuses on one book and includes 3 groups as well as an ongoing online discussion
You can sign up for each quarter that you’re interested in and pass on quarters that you’re not

Robert Bly aims to inspire men to get in touch with their primal and wild nature. In this book he provides a map of a coming of age journey that is sorely lacking in our American culture. His aim to help boys become men by finding their purpose and attaining mastery in their lives. This is old knowledge decoded and interpreted for the modern world.

This book is written for the Western audience and really speaks to the struggles of modern culture. It inspires readers to break out of their cocoons and embrace a life of searing vulnerability and openness. It is truly unique work and one that spoke to the very core of being a man without fear.

This is the foundational text of Stoicism written by one of the world’s greatest leaders. In this work Marcus Aurelius writes about the nature of the mind, reality, and ethics.
